The journey to female empowerment.
Nurturing the unique voice of a young girl isn’t something that happens overnight. It starts with a caring adult, mom, mentor or otherwise, who will take a proactive approach to leadership, no matter how she feels about her own ability to lead effectively. And it will take the supportive circle of a community of women who are committed to gather, grow, and guide the girls they love . . . together.

The themes and lessons of each individual story combine to educate a young and impressionable reader about her priceless worth, internalizing that message and unlocking her potential.

Creating lasting impact: The Bible Belles Revolution
This is about where Bible Belles joins the story!
Over the past few years, we have worked to develop diverse distribution channels, build creative partnerships and expand our reach to girls all over the world.
By partnering with organizations like Jesus Film Project, Food for the Hungry, and World Vision, we are able to reach girls in some of the hardest and most challenging places on Earth.
And as our reach continues to expand, we will not rest until we complete the work we were given to do.
Until every girl is reached with the message of their true worth, our work is not done and this movement is not complete.
Through the establishment of Bible Belles as a global leader in female empowerment, we will continue to help women of all ages discover, develop, and dominate their Kingdom calling as they move the needle toward eternity.
Creating tangible ways for a girl to learn about abstract concepts like beauty, identity, and purpose is especially important for her emotional intelligence, mental fortitude, as well as her ability to think critically.
Empowering Women.
When those skills combine with a spiritual attunement to the heart of God, our girls learn to prioritize the things that really matter, choosing to live fully, love fiercely, and lead boldly. . . in light of eternity.
Turning girls into Kingdom warriors is at the heart of the Bible Belles mission. It not only builds character, and confidence, but it teaches them how to strategically leverage their time, gifts, talents, and resources for the good of others and the glory of God.
How we got here.
In 2011, on the way home from church, co-founders Erin and Brent Weidemann embarked on a journey to help girls make a meaningful connection to Scripture through the stories of women. They headed to the bookstore and discovered there was a serious lack of engaging, dynamic, and high-quality resources that made the stories of these positive female role models come alive for young readers.
They knew they had to do something about it.
Their effort blossomed into a global movement to teach the next generation of young women to embrace their worth and calling.
Not too long after Brent and Erin started down this path did they find out they were going to be parents. That’s when it got real for them.
Bringing it home.
They began to feel personally the weight of teaching their own daughters to recognize their inherent value. For so many adults, this can feel like a monumental task. There’s almost too much to say. But if we as parents, mentors, and leaders do not influence our girls, who will? You know the answer: the world.
The world tells our young women that their worth is relative to their popularity, looks, romantic partners, social status, and so on. But we know the truth. So let’s embrace our responsibility to speak up and train them — together, as a strong collective of adults who are dedicated to loving and leading well. Courage begets courage. Love begets love. Leadership begets leadership. That’s what Bible Belles is all about.
